Biography

Dr. Jeremy Pinier has been an Aerospace Engineer at NASA Langley since 2007. Specializing in Aerodynamics, he has helped develop, over the past 12 years, the human-rated Space Launch System rocket that successfully flew the Orion crew capsule to the Moon during the Artemis I mission last year, and that will be taking a crew of four astronauts further around the Moon than ever before during our upcoming Artemis II mission. Dr. Pinier is also leading a team of engineers developing a capability at Langley’s historic Gantry facility to test our nation’s future crewed Moon Landers as they impact the ground in a simulated Lunar gravity environment. Jeremy is passionate about Aerodynamics, Space Exploration, K-12 STEM outreach, and communicating NASA’s Artemis mission with the public. Jeremy lives in Hampton with his wife and 7-year-old twin girls.
